Salewa Headquarters, Bolzano, Italy

The Salewa headquarter is formed by a series of multifaceted slabs and towers, including a 50 metre-high structure which when built will be the tallest building in the city. The project combines an electro-coloured micro-perforated aluminium skin which protects the most exposed parts of the building with a large vertical glass covering. The resulting visual effect is that of a rock crystal. The interplay between the thin sheet metal-like pillars and the delicate protective layers frame the façades and underline the contrast between the visible and invisible areas. Manitoba Hydro Place is the new headquarters tower for the major energy utility in the Province of Manitoba. It is the first of the next generation of bioclimatic buildings integrating time-tested environmental concepts in conjunction with advanced technologies and the art of architecture. Urban revitalization was a key objective of Manitoba Hydro for bringing 2000 employees from the suburbs into its new headquarters in downtown Winnipeg. The design prioritizes the creation of spaces for public use, including a new urban park and a three-storey street-level Public Galleria which functions both as a sheltered pedestrian route and major event space. Zentrales Kunstdepot Freiburg (Central Art Storage Friburg)

The building is a two story art depository used by several museums of the city of Freiburg and by different foundations. It contains various art and museum objects with very different but  constant conserva-tional requirements on climate an temperature. The gound floor is devided into a deposit space and a functional space which contains all the entries, logistics, technical rooms, and  supporting workspaces such as restoration studios. The asymmetric double pitched roof leads to variable ceiling heigts in the upper floor and also gives the building its characteristic shape. Earthen School Tipu Sultan Merkez, Jar Maulwi, Pakistan

In November 2011 the School and development organisation Tipu Sultan Merkez (TSM) was awarded Gold at the Holcim Award celebration for its work in Asia. The Holcim Awards for sustainable constructions are presented every three years by the Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction (http://www.holcimfoundation.org/T1398/Asia_Pacific.htm).             Tipu Sultan Merkez (TSM) is a privately-initiated school and development project in Jar Maulwi, a small village near Lahore, Pakistan. TSM has been assisting underprivileged rural girls for ten years now. Gaoligong Museum of Handcraft Paper

The museum of handcraft paper is located in a field next to Xinzhuang village under Gaoligong Mountain of Yunnan, a world ecological preserve area in southwest of China. The village has a long tradition on handcraft paper making. The museum project is a part of the plan for preservation and development of traditional resources, in which papermaking will be preserved as cultural heritage and contribute to community growth. To exhibit the history, technique and product of paper making, this museum consists of exhibition space, bookstore, work space and guest rooms for artist and visitors. Abu Hindi Primary School

Abu Hindi primary school project was born from a strict cooperation and exchange of ideas and information about needs and desires between the Jerusalem Bedouin Committee Anata, the promoter Vento di Terra NGO and ARCò team. This building refurbishment answers to children need for a safe, clean and performing school and to the need for an identity collective place of the whole Bedouin community. Local inhabitants are employed as workers in a process of complete and transparent participation.
